My magazine is going to be like none of the others non those shelves now-days. The genre of my magazine is going to be indie- not that 'POP' indie but real old school indie where some really unique talents will be recognized for what they do best, making some peaceful tunes!
To start of, my magazine's title is 'Melody'. The reason I want it to be called this is because I need the viewers to know it is a peaceful and easy going genre, with a really unique twist- those incredibly deep and meaningful lyrics. When you generally think of melody, thoughts such as peace and heartfelt will come to mind, therefore it is a very engaging title hinting it is real old school indie. The symbolic sign of the peace symbol highlights that it has a really hippie and retro vibe therefore wont let you down!
The house style of my magazine is going to be brown and light red. I think indie is linked with sepia toned images therefore this means the use of browns and reds will link in with the genre- compared to NME which uses a lot of black hinting it is a very dark/gothic genre of music.
Regular features of my magazine will be the competitions. Each week our magazine will be giving our readers the opportunity to receive a piece of equipment, music based, which has been signed by our stared guest; for example our magazine with Miley Cyrus will be giving a signed guitar linking in with Miley's obsession of acoustic guitar playing. We will also have every week reader's comments posted on our magazines page and website! By doing this will allow our readers to feel greatly involved with the magazine and have a chance to put their opinions forward (perhaps to ask the weeks guest a question) this will allow themselves to get their names more recognized.
The feature that will make it appeal to our audience will be the unique interviews which reveal something that nobody else knows. also, the chance to search on our website who will be the next feature of the magazine means they will be bale to post a question tot hem, therefore, if they are klucky their question may be asked! also if they want, their name will be highlighted demonstrating the thought put into our audience and how we love the idea of making our readers more populated because they are involved with out amazing magazine!
Therefore Melody is a unique and amazing magazine that will impress our readers and, obviously, supply customer satisfaction 100% in a peaceful fashion!
